Apple Ecosystem

Joshua Wood Joshua Wood Profile: Joshua Wood

Hi all, Apple has released a couple of new iterations of their products this year. There wasn’t anything revolutionary in any of their announcements but rather solid upgrades to their current product lines. The Apple ecosystem is stronger than ever. And due to the recent upgrades their market share will continue to grow into the coming year.

Their ecosystem is well formed, tightly integrated and easy for the average consumer to use. Moving from your computer to your iPad/iPhone has never been simpler with the iCloud technology that keeps everything sync’ed. Many people claim that the Apple ecosystem is trap that you willing pay in to and then once you are there you regret your investment. Others argue that it is a tightly woven system of integration that allows you greater simplicity, stability and integration.

Personally I was surprised by how well they ecosystem worked. Each piece of the puzzle that you add increases the effectiveness of all of the remaining pieces. AirPlay to the AppleTV from your iPhone works amazingly well. The integration with iTunes is slick and well done. It look forward to seeing the ecosystem deepen with the Apple products.

Until next time,
