VMware ESX Server – Advanced Technical Design Guide Released

As you may have seen on the Forum, Ron Oglesby & Scott Herold have released their long (very long) awaited book. As the name suggests this is NOT a dummies guide. But if you know your ESX well you shouldn’t have a problem – which some might say if that’s the case – what’s the point of buying it…!

However, I’ve read 4 chapters so far and found interesting an useful tips and recommendations. I wouldn’t say I have had an epiphany yet with this book – but give the shortage of public available/3rd party literature surrounding ESX – I think it is required reading. Its 440 pages long and is just a book – no CD….

Once I’ve finished reading and highlighting the bits that are “new to me” – I will go back to my guides and add in the relevant information.
