If you have not heard or got to know about IBM Internet of Things Foundation, you must. It is a service that is completely cloud-based and is fully managed. There seems to be a lot of in-house research and hard work gone into this project from IBM. The service offers to draw out value from Internet of Things (IoT) devices in quite a simple manner. You can, in fact, start with your own smartphone or any of the devices having a sensor, or a gateway or in any other way it is capable to connect and transmit. Using the technology developed by the IBM Internet of Things Foundation, the devices you sync or connect there, can start communicating in a secure manner by sending data to the cloud. This is done through the lightweight MQTT messaging protocol.

The way technology is changing in a very fast manner and gadgets, devices and things have started communicating, the data is getting accumulated on the cloud in a very big way. This huge data when analyzed in a sensible and constructive manner, is going to provide help in making a number of strategic decisions.
