This is the concluding post about Cloudtenna and its unique innovative tool DirectSearch. You can read the previous post here. The key features of DirectSearch by Cloudtenna include AI Powered Accuracy, Security, Cross-Silo File Search, Granular Criteria, and its super speed to find the relevant files in no time. The product was given to 30 beta customers including online businesses, universities, and medium to large enterprises are using DirectSearch currently exploring six services that include Dropbox Business, Google Drive, Sharefile, Box Business, Jira, and Confluence. The production version will have additional access to Microsoft OneDrive, Outlook mail (including Office 365), Gmail, and all network drives/NAS (Network Attached Storage). Bryan Pham is the founder of Cloudtenna.
While Pham is an expert in cloud storage infrastructure, Cloudtenna cofounder Aaron Ganek is an expert in user experience. A seed funding of $4 million by Blazar Ventures and a strategic investment from Citrix is more than enough to state how promising the solution is for the international market. Andy Cohen, VP Corporate Development, Citrix says, “ Citrix is pleased to be part of the Cloudtenna investment round. Cloudtenna has outstanding new technology in intelligent search and data analytics and we are excited to be part of this round with Cloudtenna.” The talent in the organization includes top professionals from Silicon Valley like Rhapsody Networks, Symantec, NetApp, Oxygen Cloud, Sun Microsystems, Fusion.io, VERITAS, and EMC. The Engineering team includes key contributors to the NetApp WAFL and VxFS code bases. DirecSearch future developments include file management, auditing, analytics, and e-governance. The tool is already serving many enterprises.
DirectSearch Works On Outstanding New Technology
Pham who also serves as Cloudtenna CTO says, “Today’s workers are using literally dozens of file repositories, which has become a critical problem not only for individual productivity but for corporate IT departments and for vendors of platforms that would benefit from improved search functions. There are incomplete point solutions that partially solve a piece of the puzzle, but DirectSearch will revolutionize the way people find and work with files day in and day out.”
Robert Poulin, founding partner, Blazar Ventures says, “Cloudtenna’s technology is viable today but also has broad implications for file and data management in a modern enterprise that combines local, cloud, BYOD, and SaaS assets,” said “We look forward to advising Cloudtenna on its enterprise, OEM, and direct market strategies so it realizes the full benefit of what it has to offer.”
