Customer Contact Week (CCW) in Las Vegas this week becomes a major collaboration moment for two experts in their respective fields. One is Content Guru which is a global frontrunner in large volume cloud-based contact center technology. On the other hand is Rakuten Inc., the Japanese electronic commerce company. The two global leaders joined forces at CCW to demonstrate how effective intelligent automation is when it comes to delivering exemplary Customer Engagement and Experience. Of course, excelling in customer engagement would be a matter of concern for any organization across the globe. As a matter of fact, this is the 20th anniversary of CCW this year. CCW or Customer Contact Week that was from June 24 to June 28, 2019 at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas in world’s most significant conference and expo for Customer Experience (CX), contact center, and customer care professionals.

Content Guru

Content Guru was at stand #1102 at the event. The theme for Content Guru at the event was to showcase various major achievements for its customers in terms of customer experience. Rakuten is also known as the ‘Amazon of Japan’. The story of the relationship between Content Guru and Rakuten is quite interesting. Their journey together began at CCW Las Vegas in 2017. Rakuten highlighted how the company successfully used Content Guru’s cloud-based storm® platform that helped them transform their customer’s experience. After this deployment, the customers of Rakuten experience a greater experience when they contact the company or the thousands of sellers that use Rakuten platform to sell their products. In fact, Content Guru hosted a workshop on Tuesday, June 25 that was titled “Next Generation Omni-Channel Contact Center: AI, NLP, Web Chat & Chatbots”. The workshop was led by Martin Taylor, Deputy CEO, Content Guru.

By means of conducting this workshop, Content Guru showcased how they utilize intelligent automation and Artificial Intelligence through their state of the art storm® platform that helps their customers to deliver high-quality and ultimate customer service.
