Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Yahoo has invaded my computer. I do not want it and cannot get rid of it.  I deleted anything that said yahoo from programs, and still it is here and in all the same places. I am not techie, but I have deleted things listed there, like a program I did not like and succeeded. Not so with the Y. I don’t trust nor do I like it. Help!

WPF comes with a ready to use WebBrowser control, which allows you to host a complete web browser within your application. The WebBrowser control is really just a shell around an ActiveX version of Internet Explorer, but since this is an integrated part of Windows, your application should work on all Windows machines without requiring the installation of additional components.

@wdsmas: Yahoo is a website not a browser. If you want to get rid of traces of it you need to clear your temp files, browser history and cookies. One thing to remember if you click on a link, it may point you to a Yahoo web page. It's never been an issue for me. If you are looking to change it as being your search engine just google "change xxxxx search engine" where xxxxx is your browser. Like Chrome, Firefox, IE or Edge.
