Wired PC is not working

Alright, so a I got a PC for gaming on Dec 28, 2017. At first I freaked out because it wasn’t wireless but thank god it came with a Wi-Fi USB. The computer worked great for a month but then suddenly it wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. This happened all day until I had to unplug the USB and plug it back in again. After that it was fine. However, the same thing happened the next day, and the next. It keeps disconnecting while every other device is fine. Should I just get an Ethernet cable? And if so how do I do so?

Assuming this is your home. Earlier when you kept your router at the place, still now is it at the same place? Is there any metal things or something like that nearby the router? Have you updated your system recently? If yes, is there any pending update in update history?

If I understand your issue it use to keep you Wi-Fi connection before the problem, now you have to unplug the USB to get it to reconnect on a daily basis. What OS are you running?
