That is a highly subjective question and sounds like a homework assignment to me. Do you have a problem or error we can help you with instead? This i snot a homework site.

I agree with Mrdenny. I would say ME was worse than Vista. But as Technochic said, that is highly subjective. "Most successful" does not necessarily mean "Better", so, it should not be contrasted with "worst".

The criteria for those are trouble. I might think that W2K was the "most successful" in how it successfully penetrated the home market after WinNT. By doing so, it tended to force an even higher penetration into colleges and workplaces, not to mention PC vendors. But that doesn't mean it sold more copies or made more money or whatever. Similarly, who knows what "worst" actually means? (Well, WinME does kind of stand out, I suppose...) Since Windows first arrived, the entire industry has changed. The same criteria may not apply well across versions. Tom

Depends, for gaming 95 and 98 was very stable. ME crashed all the time, and XP was the best. Also it seems like when MS leaves an OS running for a period longer than 3 years that it tends to get better. I do agree though ME was a mistake, and VISTA was alright, the problem was not enough drivers for already owned hardware.
