Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with Windows Server 2012 R2 replication by HTTPS.
In my network I have two server by the name of primaryServer and secondServer both are non-domain witch means they are in workgroup domain.
The primaryServer have hyper-v installed with virtual machine created, and  I want to replicate all those virtual machine to secondServer.
I have already installed Windows development kit that comes with makecert tool to create self-certificates. I have already create certificates for both and it's giving the following error.
Enabling replication failed.
Hyper-V failed to enable replication for virtual machine 'Replica': The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value.(0x800B010F). (Virtual machine ID ECB9D8E8-8095-41F7-9979-04E45C08E2C0)
The Replica Server name 'MSSRVFIS02' for Hyper-V does not match the received certificate's subject common name (CN) or subject alternative name (DNS Name): The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value.
(0x800B010F)
I have already enable Https(443) port on firewall.
PrimaryServer:
Name: MSSRVFIS01
FQDN: MSSRVFIS01.serveressentials.info
SecondServer:
Name:MSSRVFIS02
FQDN:MSSRVFIS02.serveressentials.info
I put primary DNS suffix on the server name "serveressentials.info" but the domais is "goe.local"
I don't know if I create the certificates correctly.
I really need help please someone help me is urgent.
