The videos taken on my Windows phone. All have a .TNL extension attached after the MP4 extension. I recently transferred the files to my computer. Windows Media Player will not open them. Any suggestions of the best way to open them?

Try with vlc media player. Or you have to install codec to run the same.

Are you getting an error on file name? It may the wrong file or file name. A TNL extension usually refers to a thumbnail image. You may not have the actual video file.
