Windows Media Player bailout

I can't get Windows Media Player anymore. I have a lot of music and pictures on there, plus I don't know where else to put recordings from 'Sound Recorder'

    Windows Media Player is still out there. You can buy it though the Windows Store. You can use Quick Time player for Audio Files though and it is still free.

    Personally, I like VLC it has lots of features as well as letting me play Blu-Ray media on my laptop Blu-Ray drive. I needed an alternative once the pre-loaded player expired. I was looking for a free alternative and it works just fine.
