Hello, I'm a security nerd and I'm looking to learn even more about biometric authentication (particularly IRIS scanning). And my machine is running Windows 10. So here's my question: Does Windows Hello support this type of scanning? Can anyone tell me where it's located? Thanks again!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Accounts  > Sign-in options  to set up Windows Hello. Under Windows Hello , you’ll see options for face, fingerprint, or iris if your PC has a fingerprint reader or a camera that supports it. Once you’re set up, you’ll be able to sign in with a quick swipe or glance.

Actually, there are two different technologies for windows hello namely, facial recognition & iris scanner, while you asked for second one, & it comes to the eyes, there are two ways, either by iris scanning/retina scanning. For iris scanning, it is needed the existing/built-in camera technology to make it work & there is not need extra hardware to add.
