Windows 10 USB storage device won’t show up on computer

Hi, I am running Windows 10 and when I plug in a Mass USB storage device, it will not show up in my computer. It shows up in device manager and in disk management.

    If it showed on file explorer, then what drive letter is it. Have you tried to open that drive, If there is no data, you can format the drive and try again. I have face the same problem, and after format it works fine. But keep in mind that, if there is valuable data, don't do format.

    Check to make sure that you are not sharing the drive letter with another drive in disk management. If you are, then you will have decide which one is the proper drive and then change the new one to another drive letter.

    Has this drive worked before or are you trying to use it for the first time? It may be possible the USB version is not compatible. What type of USB connection is it, 2.0 or 3.0 ?
