So I have an interesting question: When I'm trying to connect to the Internet of my Windows 10 machine, it says I can't connect to the network. This lasts around 30 minutes and then connects. Why is there such a delay? I checked the router and drivers and there are no issues. What can I do?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Can you ping other systems on your network at that time? Sounds like a driver issue. I would run Windows update to make sure that everything is current, including the OS itself.

I have the same issue!! In most of the cases I got an error for network. To resolve the error I have to modify the LAN software and then after it works!

Also check the network related services in services.msc and make sure that there is no delay start of these services. If yes, make them Automatic & restart the system to take effect. However some applications may be an issue for the same, however you did not reveal about them.

One more thought, make sure there is using the latest firmware of modem/router. This is important as any updates can come with fixes to software problems that you would try to fix in other ways. Moreover, check if the router is using a WiFi channel that is unoccupied by nearby routers from neighbors, if any.

@rahulrathi, what did you mean, modify LAN software? Did you mean, renew IP address / resetting TCP/IP of local computer?
