More details are needed. Do you currently have an email account set up with Outlook or any other provider like Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail?

IF you have an account already set up with a service and have it set to keep yourself logged in the follow this YouTube video on setting it up as the Win10 default mail provider

It is not clear either there is an email client installed. If there is an email system installed (assuming), you can go for a reset. Open Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs. Click Set program access and computer defaults. Under Choose a default email program, select the email client and click OK. However, you can click the first option in the list, which is Set the default programs & reset the mail client there.
