Windows 10 computer mouse clicking issues

For a very long time now, my mouse have been bugging out. My dad describes the mouse as "new" tho it's having a couple problems that i don't know how to solve.
Middle mouse button clicks fails to open up browsers 75% of the clicks and is unpredictable, assuming there is connection issues or the wheel is broken.
Normal left mouse clicks will either fail to click completely or double click. Due to the double clicking issue, dragging and dropping applications of any kind becomes impossible and I struggle to place things where I want them.
I am a windows 10 user, the mouse I'm using I believe is an old but barely used razor deathadder. I have a habit of using semi protective virus removal programs such as un-upgraded avg and default windows virus protection. I also tend to visit questionable websites often.
What are some methods of fixing this? It's periodical and sometimes I don't have any issues with left clicks at all while now it's worse than ever.

edit: consider this post solved. i bought a cheap 7$ mouse and everything is fine now.

As you described, probably there is a hardware problem in this mouse. As your dad told it is new, so have you offered your dad to operate the mouse at the same time when you are working with this mouse? Whatever you are doing just request your dad to do the same jobs when you are in front of the system. It helps to understand the problem.

I haven't spoken to him much ever since and i shouldn't have to. He would probably just tell me to look it up myself or buy a new mouse since i'm old enough to do so and are in charge of my money and he doesn't have sufficient computer knowledge to know. So i don't see how any of this is even remotely relavant.

I also have to mention that the mouse is technically old but it hasen't been used much, tho i suppose i have had this mouse now for more than a year, tho the issue has been going on for a long time and recently it have been really bad and periodical.

I saw another post mention that there might be junk in the mouse, some viruses messing with the connection or i might just need to buy a 5$ mouse to test if it solves the problem, in which case the mouse is at fault. i don't really know if taking a part this mouse will help me clean it or anything.

Cleaning a mouse (specially inside) is not your job, if you have adequate knowledge in hardware. Else it may lead to completely damage the mouse. Yes, virus may cause for non working of hardware/software, but hope your matter is not like that serious. Is it possible to bring a mouse from your friend (who uses computer/ laptop) & do a test for its eligibility? If the mouse performs well then you can ask your father to buy new one/your own money.

I went and bought a 7$ mouse and i haven't had any issue what so ever with the mouse wheel and left click, i might even like this better than a 100$ mouse glitching out, now that i know it was the mouse, i can invest into a real and new mouse ones i feel comfortable
