Will a laptops Firewall disturb connectivity to WiFi for all devices connected to that WiFi box?

If the firewall program is on the lap top, no it won’t effect other devices. If the firewall is set and controlled by the router,  it will effect the other devices using that router.

    Since the vast majority of laptops have software firewalls nowadays, it should be clear that the router would not be affected.
