Will my Wi-Fi router still remember my device?

At school, they have blocked all non school property devices off there network. I  have noticed if you have a new device you can connect to the Wi-Fi but what if you still got the same device you cant connect to the Wi-Fi then. But my question is what if I change my device ID will the Wi-Fi router still remember my device, or if you have a better idea please let me know.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It will all depend on how your school has its logon.  My college has our ACCES username and password as the wi-fi logon.  Using this, we can log onto the network with any device.  So, as long as you have a logon with password, the type of devices will not matter.

They must have the devices blocked for a reason. Mostly to prevent network infections from bad devices. Try to circumvent this may get you kicked out, or other disciplinary action. If you have a valid signon you may be able to use another device unless there is another level of authentication you have not mentioned.
