Currently, I have a Belkin for my Wi-Fi router. But I recently put in a smart TV in my bedroom and the Wi-Fi isn't too good (along with the connection). Should I upgrade my router? If so, what would everyone recommend?

A better router may work. Depending on the location and distance between the router and television you may want to look at a signal booster/range extender. They run about 20-40 online. Cheaper than a new router. These plug into a wall outlet and increase the strength and can eliminate dead spots in your home.

That depends on your budget. If you invest more, you can get more & more good router. You can go for Netgear or Linksys, if money is not a matter. However, it is better to consult an expert regarding this issue.

Google has a solution and I have found that the Ubiquiti systems work well.
