I have an old Acer laptop but it's running Windows 10. The Wi-Fi has been working but now it's not. I recently upgraded the RAM - would that be the problem? I went into my settings and it shows the Wi-Fi is off so I turn it on. But it keeps staying off. What can I do?

Assuming ram did not create a problem for the same. First of all you check the power options of the wifi network. Open device manager from computer/ from search bar, then click the + symbol of network adapters. Now double click the wifi related driver(s) and select advanced tab. Just select power save mode and make it OFF. Click Ok and exit. Also uninstall/ reinstall the wifi driver software may help.
