My wife and I just moved into a new apartment in our downtown area. But the complex is a bit weird because we were just told that there's Wi-Fi for each apartment specifically. But only one device can connect. Does anyone know of a workaround that we can use to have multiple devices connected to the Wi-Fi? Thank you so much!

Is the complex's rule is to maintain only one device can connect, so you have to maintain the same. There are several tricks that can help to achieve the same, but if you want to stay there peacefully, you have to follow their rules.

That is quite simple. Connect the first device, say your smartphone. Make it a hotspot and then connect other devices to this hotspot. You can run multiple devices with this.
