One of my applications is running as a background process on Linux. It's starting at the command line in a Terminal window. Just a few days ago, one of our users was executing the application for a while and it just died. The text 'killed' was on the terminal and it's happened twice already. Why would Linux kill my process? Did the shell kill it off? Any input would be appreciated.
