Why does my USB Internet modem have two IP addresses?

I am using a USB Internet cable modem. In this modem, there are two IP addresses. One is fixed, another is changed if I disconnect and then connect again? Why there are two IP address?

A USB internet modem has two IP addresses if it is connected to a router. One of the addresses is for the router and the other is for the computer that is connected to the USB drive. All the devices in your network will have the same router IP address but will have different individual addresses. In essence, it’s like an apartment building, with the building number working as the router, as they are all the same, but each device (apartment) having its own number.
