Check with your ISP by logging into you account. Sometimes, they bump your speed up at no charge to stay competitive with the competition or as their network is upgraded. I started with 25m and now it’s 50m. Mainly because the competitor offers a much faster speed for less.

Strange! Maximum people comes here for not downloading/slow downloading or even Wi-Fi related problems. But even you get better service then you asked for why? It is better to ask your vendor or the authority who provides you the connection.

Most likely your service attempts to guarantee minimum upload/download speeds. They attempt to guarantee it by allowing somewhat higher speeds. When service problems slow their network, you're still likely to get at least your promised speeds.

Is it post-paid or prepaid ? If it is post-paid then keep in mind, either the vendor may charge extra amount for additional use. Sometimes, they deduct the amount without prior information to concerned person.
