Why can't me and my college roommate play cod together in the same room on the same Wi-Fi network? We want to play Call of Duty together. Me and my roommate in college are on the same LAN connection with our PS4s and the network won't let us join a lobby together online. We've played by direct LAN but that s not fun because it s offline. I've been told it might be because our IP address is the same and it would be like joining yourself and that, of course, isn't possible. What might this issue actually be? HELP! PS if you need further explanation just comment and I ll answer as best I can. Thanks!

It is not possible to guess what exactly is going there. Actually what exact error is given? Check your LAN settings and if you are not so comfortable ask an expert.
