Hi - until recently a user in our domain could access her laptop running Windows 10 by using the fingerprint swipe under the 'Hello' options. Her domain password changed yesterday, so I removed all registered fingerprints from the laptop and registered her finger again from scratch. We tried to test this out by locking laptop and unlocking with fingerprint but now it says something like 'your password has changed, use your PIN to unlock'. We cannot set up her finger again no matter what we try and it's driving me crazy! Can someone please help?? :-)

Microsoft stores Finger prints user's device rather on network. You can try this:
Delete her fingerprints that already registered. Now open device manager (hope you will know the procedure) & uninstall the current diver under marked biometric devices. Again install the newest driver by clicking discover/ scan hardware. After done restart and re-register her fingers.
