Why can’t I open a XLSX file?

For some reason, I can't seem to open a XLSX file even after downloading free viewer. What should I do?

It depends on the version supported. The file extension is for Excel 2010 and later. It is also possible the file is corrupted and may need repair. Depending where you got the file you can have them resend it in a different format or they may need to run the repair on their end.

    Assuming it is free viewer. Sometimes, free viewer does not support all files for viewing purpose. Or you can download it again & try the same. Or download & install Libre Office which is free and helps to view / edit the same.
