I recently got the evga geforce gtx 1050 ti sc.  I installed it, turned on my computer, and the fan was spinning.  So I went to install the drivers but it says I have incompatible hardware for those drivers.  I looked up youtube videos, and still it did not work.  Can someone plz tell me what to do.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It may be your new card is not compatible with the rest of your system. Provide the spec of the computer the card has been placed into. Things like OS, RAM and make / model. It could be related to other components. I know that my Nvidia card is always letting me know of new optimized drivers for the games I play. Did you get the  drivers straight from Nvidia ?

The fan was spinning because it got power, that did not mean the card is working. Generally a software driver helps to communicate or helps to recognize newly inserted hardware with the installed OS. If the software drive is not correct or does not match the OS version then this type of message may be shown. You have to download the proper driver of EVA GeForce card and then again try it.

In order to determine possible answers, we first need to know the hardware details of the system. It's possible the OS info is also needed.

In general, the error is saying that this driver is the wrong one for this system.

You may also want to check this link out. I thought It was interesting that there are fake cards out there. Just older cards, rebranded and tweaked , but not a true card.  IF you bought this online from e-bay or another PC supply house it may be the case. If it is a true NVIDIA card from a trusted supplier, then ask NVIDIA for help or return the card , it may be defective.

It was not mentioned, since the system did not boot with card in the socket, did you attempt to boot the system after removing the new video card, with the monitor plugged into the old video card.

Also check that the new nvidia card is OK. You said you got this card. Did you purchase the card or got from someone? Please check.
