What VoIP technology do I need for converting between VoIP and PSTN? I have softswitch class 5 in a server and I am looking to terminate call from one region to another. Thanks!

If you want to interconnect with the PSTN, you would need E1 ports and
some software or hardware that can perform the conversion between
ISDN/SS7 to SIP or some other VoIP protocol.

If your switch can’t
do that, an Asterisk server would be a good option.  Asterisk is open
source, and works with interface cards from different vendors.
