I want to use tape to backup my data. They are video, audio, and files. They are on (WD) portable hard drive, about 60TB data. I know there are devices like tape library, tape media, tape drive, tape cartridges or some software. But I'm not sure what tape devices I need to do my backup project.

As you asked, generally, tape backup is a practice of periodically copying data from a HDD to a tape cartridge so the data can be recovered in future. And a tape library is also known as tape silo/tape robot which is a storage device that contains one/more tape drives/tape cartridges, which is/are identified by barcode reader and an automated method for loading tape. But before buying, you should aware about its cost/uses/configuration etc. Hope this is for your office purpose, and you can ask your system admin person for more help.
