My HP laptop doesn't find networks to connect to. I tried right clicking on "my computer", then "manage", and then they told me to uninstall things on "network adapters". Now I don't have anything as "network adapters" there. What do I do?! Please help me. What should I do so that it finds networks again?!

As you said, there are no network adapters, assuming no network driver(s) installed there. Frist install the proper network driver according to laptop's motherboard/search on HP official web site then download to install the same. You have to install NIC or Wi-Fi both.

However make/ model is not necessary here, as software driver must be installed before connecting network, though you can know by checking either backside/ upper side of the CPU/ from their papers as you got at the time of purchase.
