Virtual Server
At the moment we have three Dell PowerEdge™ R210 II which are running multiple virtual servers. We want to upgrade those servers with something much more powerful with more memory. What server should I use? Thanks in advance!

////EDIT

We have a sharepoint server, lyncserver, spiceworks server, syslogserver, sqlserver, tfsserver and muliple devservers. We run that on 3 Dell PowerEdge™ R210 II they all have 32758MB memory but all three servers are full.

We are trying to solve memory insufficiency and speed up the servers. Because we work on the development servers with programs like visual studio 2013 trough remote desktop, and its kinda slow sometimes. We have a IT manager and he will config the new servers. But i need to know what server is the best for virtualization

Software/Hardware used:
Dell PowerEdge™ R210 II, Citrix XenCenter, Windows Server 2012

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Why not put everything in the cloud?
The cloud server is easier to suffice custom requirements. It means, clients can choose the OS, firewall, control panels and other applications.

Though the load of other cloud customer increases, the computing resources – RAM, CPU performance and bandwidth being pooled-in by multiple physical servers, results in a near unlimited supply of resources.

    We have no idea what you should get. Far more info about your environment is needed.

    What services are running? What is the network transaction volume? What is the forecast of volumes over the next 3-5 years? What problems currently exist that you are trying to solve? What staff do you have available? What are their qualifications related to this project? What budget do you have for choosing replacements?

    From answers to those, there will be many other questions that might need to be answered in order to point towards possible answers.

    This question depends on many factors, which comes down to final answer. How much is the company willing to pay for the new equipment? Once you have that, then you can start looking at the different platforms and improve from there.

    I recommend you get some vendor and get them to do a poc for you to test it out before committing totally on your purchase.

    Without knowing exactly what your company does and what the price tag is, it is somewhat hard to tell you what you should get.

    Get in touch with some vendors, pitch your idea of what you want, and then have them come back to you with a design plan and the cost. Then see what your senior IT guy goes with and have him bring it to upper management, as they have to sign the check.

    It is better to consult your nearby any qualified consultant who deals such type of matter. Far from here, and without much knowledge, it is not possible to provide a fruitful reply. Tell them your requirements with full specs, and they can help you a lot and quiet easy and quick.
