In Windows, I keep getting this sharing violation error. I simply can't find what's holding it open. This has become such a huge problem that I keep having to reboot my machine. What can I do here?

If you don't have Process Explorer, download and install it. Start it up and press Ctl-F to open a Process Explorer Search box.

Copy/paste the file name into the search entry box, and click 'Search'.

If any process is active with a handle for that file, it sould be listed.

That's a new one for me Raven. Never heard of it, will have to check it out. I have run into this a lot when trying to release a thumb drive. It tells me a file is still in use, even though I have nothing running. Sometimes if I wait 10 minutes or so I can release the thumb drive but always wondered what is holding it up.
