Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Just remember that a lot of torrent sites are set up for illegal purposes of file sharing. Be careful of what you are downloading and you will get better performance if you are willing to share more of your own files. The more you are willing to upload the better your downloads tend to be..And yes you can get caught and prosecutes. I know of a guy I played WoW with for years. He and a few of his friends were sharing almost 3TB of music files. The FBI caught them and they went to court over it. I never heard from him and he stopped playing WoW. Not sure if he went to jail over it or just got fined.

Why are you asking? Generally downloading a file from torrent utilities is illegal. Are you an authenticated for this? How should we know about that? What forum did you want to join that they asked this question?

One more thought, when you are downloading a file through torrent, the website that provides torrent file or the torrent software may know all secrets of your system. This is basically a security threat. Show a tight antivirus or security software is required for that. Without knowing more, don't ruin your system.

Without legal permission you never do this. This is basically illegal & can also harmful for your system while virus may be attacked/ injected at the time of torrent file downloading.
