Earlier days PortableObject.narrow was used to access CORBA and EJB 2.0 beans.  Is it the better way to use PortableObject.narrow to access EJB3.X  beans, This way RMI-IIOP is being used.  other ways creating a InitialContext and and look up through the contect.lookup, having properties to use for remote protocol or remoting through HTTPs.  It has been log back the PortableObject.narrow  has been used. Is it possible to use PortableObject.narrow to lookup for EJB 3.x or remoting with HTTPs? Which option is the best option?  Your valuable thoughts are welcome.
