The short version would be

A Product manager involves managing the entire life cycle of the product. A product manager’s goal is to deliver a product that customers love.

A Project manager — oversee a fixed project from start to finish this may encompass more that one product.

What respect did you ask that? Assuming you are in a learning process. This is not a few lines of answer. You can link here for some help, http://www.nasscom.in/events/project-management-vs-product-management

But it is recommended to read your study materials that are more helpful for your solid knowledge.

Project Management- It deals with project which covers product and services from head to toe.

Product Management- It all starts from the initial stage of a product till final stage of a product, i.e final delivery to its target group and their outcome.
