I have a load of old movies on tape format. I have recently had them converted onto DVDs. I have opened them up in Windows Explorer and found that there are the video files, but there are also some DUB files and I'm not sure what they are. Any ideas?

DUB stands for Audio Utility
Tuningwrench Tuning compressed file
and was used by an old audio utility called
Tuningwrench.

    Hi,

DUB files are Uncommon Files primarily associated with Audio Utility Tuning wrench Tuning Compressed File. The fast and simple way to open DUB file is to double click on it and after that Windows Intelligence System automatically decides which application is correct to open it.

I hope it will be helpful for you.

    Thanks & regards
