You have a descent system now. Then why the upgrade? Is there something you are running that is hurting performance? The on;y 2 thing I can say that may make a noticeable improvement is going to a SSD and a better videocard like GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 1060 DIRECTX 12 GV-N1060D5-6GD REV2 6GB 192-BIT GDDR5 PCI EXPRESS 3.0  for about 230.00

    Faster for what apps? More user friendly for what apps? Without knowing significant usage cases, hard to tell. Where are current problems?

    Otherwise, upgrading the video card is perhaps a best next step. Seems likely that you're wanting some kind of gaming performance, and if so, you might not have much choice other than the GPU. Only item to watch for there would be a GPU that out-runs the i7 CPU. I.e., the GPU would have capabilities that the CPU couldn't take advantage of.

    Why upgrading? You have to download/ install apps from authentic source, not from the other/ unknown source. You may update Windows 10 with latest updates, if any. Also if there is an antivirus installed, make sure it is configured properly. Also open MSCONFIG and look for unnecessary services that you can stop immediately. Keep in mind, don't stop system/ Microsoft related services.
