Related to Cisco certs, the lowest level of cert is Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician(CCENT) is the 1st step of towards a CCNA certs. This ccent is earned upon
passing the Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1, i.e. ICND1& ICND2. CCNA covers skills like specifically  on administer devices on small or medium-sized networks. Now here arise the Q, if u want to do CCNA, there r some specialty paths mainly focus on CCNA Security; CCNA Voice and CCNA Wireless technology. Other than CCNA Service Provider also exists.

And now Cisco Certified InterNetwork Expert / CCIE is a technical certification that validates the skills like assist / decision making of networking engineers to plan / configure & troubleshoot of complex network design / converged network infrastructures on
various kinds of cisco equipments. Here u can find same as some specialty paths like CCIE Security; CCIE Storage Networking; CCIE Voice; CCIE Service Provider / CCIE WireLess and Routing & Switching, while R&S is most famous.
Though CCIE is higher level of knowledge than CCNA.
Now it is ur choice which one u wan to grab according to ur money matter and invest of ur quality of time for study not quantity of time.

After all it is requested that, please consult with ur nearest ones / try to get more informations by reading books or magazines or consult with experts who r involved with the same, if any.

CCIE is the highest level for Cisco. CCNA is just the stepping stone and the level continues to go up.

Valuable for whom, employer or employee? In what industry? What region? What size of organization and network? A lot of effort can go into becoming over qualified for available jobs. Just as true, lack of effort can reduce opportunity. Experience relevant to a job opening is always useful. -- Tom

A CCIE it the top of the ladder for Cisco whereas a CCENT is level one and CCNA is level 2, then you have CCNP as level 3 and CCIE is level 4 for the most part.
