When people talk about a company buying Oracle's database, I do not fully understand it. Does Oracle have a large database they created and now sell to companies and companies basically "fill in" the information into various tables that they will use? Does Oracle have different sized databases that a smaller company could use? I feel like i am missing key information. If it is just a large database to store information, what makes Oracle's stand out?
