    Sound like a custom message. Are you using a Canon program for sending pictures to the printer? If not, where are you seeing the PDI IMG showing up?

    It means that you're trying to send a PDI file to the printer, pretty much exactly as the message seems to say. Why are you asking? Is there a problem?
