What does it mean tail +4 in Sybase

echo $dblist
for db in $dblist
do ddlgen -Usa -P -Sabcd157 -D $db -TDB -F% -O $db.definitions.out
done
As in the above script I'm not getting the that what tail +4 does.
Kindly explain to me. As I'm not getting the expected output. It generates the DDL for only one DB.
