I'm trying to prank my mother by making a fake file that looks as if it has a virus. She's really into computers but I'm not. I wanted to know what a 'bad' file might look like?

Not a easy prank to pull off, as well as not really funny either. If she is running any antivirus program you would have create something that this would find and flag. Basically you would need a real virus or she might not even see it. If she has on with real time protection she may never even know it happened before the anti virus cleaned it up automatically. Unless you know a bit on computers you could really screw things up to a point she needs to take it somewhere for repairs.

If any file is virus effected, the shape of file does not change while behavior may be changed. Please don't play with this system, as this may a useful for your mother. And it can also be harmful for your system.
