Hi, there is a website that I'm hosting and it is supposed to expire sometime next year but for some reason it is down and there is a message saying "This site is currently unavailable. If you are the owner of this site, please contact us at 1-480-505-8855 at your earliest convenience."

Are you hosting it or another company? It may be that there is a billing issue and the hosting company has taken your site down. It's been a while but that phone number looks the the one for Go Daddy.
It may be that the hosting is up to date but the domain has expired.

It is better to contact the hosting company/ vendor or whom you contacted earlier for hosting the website. Another cause might be there is that website is having problems communicating with its database.

Some times it just happens. Yesterday for example Yahoo mail was down for a bit. If the problem still exists after an hour or 2 then call the hosting site.

    Isn't your domain expired?

It looks like you could contact whoever answers at 1-480-505-8855 and ask for an explanation. But the number doesn't seem directly part of a domain registrar even though it links back to Arizona where some GoDaddy numbers also link to. The number seems related to a telemarketer.

It's possible that someone has hijacked the site. Impossible for us to say without many more details.

We don't know anything about the site's physical location nor the domain, so there's no action we can guess other than saying that you should contact your domain registrar and any hosting service that might be involved.

Could be that something on the site is a trademark or copyright infringement and the owner of the site is ignoring cease and desist letters, at that point the copyright or trademark owner can contact the hosting firm with proof of the infringement and the site has to be suspended until changes are made to remove the issue.

If you are getting a message like that, in this case from Go Daddy's hosting service, they would have sent you a prior emails regarding the issue before suspending the account.. Check with them for the reason. The reason I stopped using them as a hosting service was no toll free support number.

You can link their official website and see if there is a support page/tab. Hopefully it is there. Or at least FAQ page. Contact them via this tool and ask for further help.
