I'm having trouble connecting my VPN client through a laptop I just received through my work. I have a high-speed internet connection through a router, which is a D-Link EBR-2310 wired router, but it connects when connected straight through the modem or through the wireless connection from wherever, but not through the router.
What I have found with Linksys routers is a firmware update that fixes the issue. You might look at D-Links site and see if there is a firmware update for your router and patch it up and see if that fixes it.
I tried disabled the firewall on the router, and have the latest firmware update. The application gives no ports information. I tried DMZ, didn't work either. No idea what else to do.
Hi,
I would like to know about the VPN connectivity your using. . Have you ownded any IP from ISP? if so, you would be using Static Ip to connect to VPN. In this case if you use NAT behind the router then it could be a problem which blocks you to connect to VPN.. Check your VPN configuration and type of VPn connectivity your using.
Thank you,
Nivas
