As soon as possible first take backup. Restart the system in Safe mode and right click on files/ folders shortcut & select Properties. Go to Shortcut tab and observe 'Start in' where you know the original location of the files/ folders. Next go to the original location and take backup of your necessary files/ folders. Keep in mind, you can do this for each file/ folder.

You can clean viruses with an anti virus.

What OS Are you running? Moving the files to another server and sharing on your network may have just spread the virus. When you find a problem it's never a good idea to move files to another machine Try starting the machine in safe mode and run a good antivirus program. You can try the other methods mentioned by the others to fix the macro issue.

As soon as a problem like this discovered, the very first step should be to disconnect completely from any local network. Then all devices on the network need to be audited to ensure that any new files are verified clean. Any other problem devices also need to be disconnected.

And if you don't know how to proceed from there, bring a qualified technician into the site to perform cleanups. It will take far too long with far too many risks trying to get it done through Internet Q&A. The technician should be familiar with anti-virus and anti-malware removal.

Download MWAV (a free to use virus cleaner) now you can start the system in Safe mode & run the scanner for cleaning viruses. It is an emergency scanner so no need to install. Keep in mind, run the scanner for all drives & it may take long times depending on size of the disk.

I agree with Raven. It may be best to bring in a professional here to make sure you do not lose your entire network. By copying the files over you just compounded the problem. Do you have any backups or a disaster recovery plan?
