Can we convert a PDF or JPEG file into the .ORD format? If yes, how?

The only thing I have seen for that ORD format might be Adobe Page Maker  or by OMAX software, this is their format to store routed tool path information, the information that the controller needs in order to machine a part.
Other than that the only other file types I have see that start OR as follows from
.orig
.ora
.orf
.org
.ori
.orb
.orc
.ort
.ore
.or2

    Probably no. Sometimes, it is not possible, to convert a file into a different format due to its mechanism/file integrity.

    @convin: both jpg and jpeg should give you no problems as they are used in most browsers and recognized by most photo / image editing software packages.

    You can use .JPG or .JPEG if you wish. Whether or not either will be appropriate will depend on what you're trying to do.

    @convin, generally .jpg/ jpeg file format is widely used & most popular amongst all picture formats either it is Linux/ Mac or Windows. Also almost all modern operating system has built-in capability to open this type of file format without asking external software.
