According to a Microsoft forum

On the bottom row of keys, third key from the right, click the Fn key. This will make the Function keys activate.
Click the function key you wish to use.
Click the Fn key again to hide the keys.

For this purpose, it may require to switch to the full keyboard layout. Open the Settings app. Now click or tap Devices. Next click Typing. On next screen, there are several options. Look for Add the standard keyboard layout as a touch keyboard option, after find it, toggle on to enable it. Now click the keyboard icon in the taskbar. Click the keyboard button at the bottom right of the on screen keyboard. Now select the standard keyboard icon. After that you can use function keys etc.
