Has anyone gotten the printer keyword AFPRSC to work to print a .jpeg file?
I have not been able to get it to work.  I am just testing with a simple .jpg picture and a test print file with the one AFPRSC command on a record format. It seems to ignore the command and do nothing. I am on V7R1.

Is this an actual IPDS printer? Probably, HP printers or other don't natively speak IPDS and require a card/IPDS conversion box. Please read here for IBM support: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_72/rzakd/rzakdmstafprsc.htm

Until recent releases, a .JPG was a non-AFP resource, the AFPRSC() parameter wouldn't be appropriate. You could convert it to an AFP resource, but we can't tell if that's needed from here.

Can you (1) show us your AFPRSC() parameter? (2) Tell us the .JPG attributes?

What type of printer and what is it's configuration? You may be trying to do the impossible. Provide more details like the other have asked and we can try to help further.
