hi, i just arrived in the United States and having a hard time to look for a job. Im planning to avail a SAP BI training program for 8 weekends from an IT consulting firm that guaranteed a 100% job placement. Since, i need to invest money, what can i do to make sure that I'll  really land to a job after the training?

you should contect to the naukari.com office that around ur location

100o/o placement is not a true.it s only fake they are only impress you?
resister you ressume that sit naukari.com,mousterindia.com etc.

100% placement is all fake and but what your objective should be is that you search for the institute who teaches you for atleast 4 months, because when i did it i had put my heart and soul in to it and learnt it from a trainer who tought me 6 days 2hrs and for 4 months and i got a job without his placement assistance, you can mail me alokjhingan@gmail.com and ask where to join.. SAP is a great place to be its rather a dream job to come true and is very interesting job, all you need is perfect trainer and guidance.

No matter what any school or business tells you the only true 100% guarantee of you getting a job is your own drive, determination, and sticktuitiveness. Here's some IT career stuff that may help. Best of luck!

Nobody can guarantee you 100% placement after SAP training. It all depends on you and your efforts.

I can't see how they can guarantee 100% placement unless they are going nation wide and forcing you to relocate to another state. There are only so many jobs available in you local area of residence.

No, it is not true. This is actually not possible. This is a gimmick. Whatever institute, that is not matter, it depends on your solid knowledge and your ability to handle the situation at the time of interview.

So.. have you found your career in SAP after 10 years now (your post is from 2009 :) )?
I am in the place just like you, just arrived in the US and having hard time finding jobs and looking forward to SAP. Please let me know what's the best path, your reply would be a great help!

@ayeshasnoorani : You can check the major job sites like Indeed or Monster to see what is available. One issue is I think the market is saturated. SAP was the buzz word for the past few years , so everyone started to learn it. Now you may have 10-15 qualified candidates for any one job opening. What will separate the perspective employees id the additional skills they can bring to the position.
